Yes, it is true. There was very little interest when sign ups were happening. So, it is true no travel teams this year. The number of in-house teams have grown, so there are a lot of kids interested in playing. Just not travel. Also, there are some kids that are playing travel basketball as part of Triton.
I think next year the RYAA needs to try and recruit some players out of the in-house to form some travel teams.
I need to know who to contact to find out who my daughters basketball coach is. She is 7 yrs. old and was at try outs but I still haven't heard from her coach. I know that most parents have already received a call. I also tried to send an email to the organization but it kept being returned as undeliverable. If someone could guide me it would be appreciated.
Welcome to the RYAA blog page. The members of the organization requested that a blog be added to the website. So, here it is. We will trial this and if it proves to be productive and not abused then it will become and active part of the webite. I hope that everyone realizes that children look at this website often and therefore no Foul Language will be tolerated. Inappropriate behavior will result in the blog to be shut down. Let's try this and see what happens.
The Runnemede Youth Athletic Association has been active for over 50 years. The RYAA allows the youth of the town an opportunity to be active within Sporting activities, which include Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football and Soccer.

Does anyone know if there is a coach for a 7th grade travel team and an 8th grade travel team? Thanks
That last comment is for boys travel basketball. Sorry
I am not sure if a 7th/8th grade coach has been set yet. As I find out more information, I will let you know.
I have heard from the Camden County Basketball League that there are no travel basketball teams from Runnemede this year. Could that be true?
