Let everyone remember that the RYAA members of the past did a great deal for this organization. They worked extremely hard to rebuild a organization that had lost its strength in numbers. There are still a few of those people volunteering their time at the RYAA to this day. Im not saying they did everything right, but their mistakes help the next wave of members avoid those very mistakes and improve on certain situations. When you are attending meetings just pay a little more attention to how you phrase things when talking about the past. I notice at times that people talk down to how it used to be done. Remember that your disparaging comments may be about the person sitting next to you. We are all in this together. That is why we are participating. That is what an organization should be. Good Luck to all of your future endeavors concerning the RYAA.

I was watching a game tonight that unfortunatly one team was loosing and then lost.It is hard enough on the kids when they loose that they do not need a parent/coach speaking to them and at them with profanity. This parent/coach proceded to degrade his son and team by his actions and words used in front of the entire team. This parent/coach was then seen grabbing his son by the throat in the equipment room. This coach /parent should receive anger management training or should not be aloud near our kids.I hope the association will look into this and figure out who this coach/parent is and deal with this as I may not have my children involved with this association again after this.
